Sault Accessible Sports

Sault Accessible Sports Incorporated is a Not for Profit, with Charitable Status, that offers accessible sporting opportunities for the disabled in the Sault area. We are completely local and volunteer driven. Our mandate is all about inclusiveness and we offer our sports either free or for a low cost to our athletes.
We are looking for individuals who would like to get involved with our organization at the committee level and for sponsors to support us.

Just a reminder that the members has to be in the dressing room for 3:00 so that you will be ready by 3:30 to play Sledge hockey and off the rink by 4:30 to get undressed and out the dressing room by 5:00

The Sault Accessible Sports Sledge Hockey program is gearing up again for our 2017- 18 Season. we are always looking for new people who are interested in trying out our sport. If you are interested is checking out the sport and you have some equipment you are welcome to come out on Oct 14 2017 and have a fun time with our gang.

Sledge Hockey receives support from Ontario Government

Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport would like to congratulate the successful grant submission to the 2016-2017 Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund for Sault Accessible Sports Inc’s Accessible Sports Sledge Hockey Project.

SASI will receive funding for a total of $6,138.  This much appreciated funding will go towards the purchase of hockey equipment and ice time for the 2016-2017 sledge hockey season.

SASI would like to thank the OSRCF program and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for seeing the great potential in our sledge hockey program.  We anticipate it to grow with this very generous grant.

Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore makes donation

Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore has made a very generous donation of $158.20 towards the facility rental for our boccia program. Sault Accessible Sports would like to thank Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore for their wonderful support.
