We had great fun participating in the Rotary Day Parade.
On Saturday August 11th we held our first car wash fundraiser at Canadian Tire. It was a very successful day. Our group raised $730 by washing 54 cars and receiving donations. Plenty of fun was had by all involved and Mother Nature co-operated with the weather. Many customers got out of their vehicles to ask questions about our group. It turned out to be an excellent way to increase our exposure in the community. . We appreciate our local Canadian Tire allowing us to utilize their parking lot for the day for us. This is something that we will continue to do in the future. It was a great way to raise money, increase our public profile, and have fun at the same time.
